Ngana Muruku Karday (We all Come Together) NAIDOC exhibition 2019

A series of works by the artists of Yalanji Arts are currently on display as part of the Ngana Muruku Karday (We all Come Together) NAIDOC exhibition at Douglas Shire Council Foyer.

The artists connected as a group in early Jan 2019 through Yalanji Art Centre  and have developed both individually and together through personal exploration and a series of workshops in different mediums and techniques. 

Working together and sharing and helping I found something special within my very own art that I just started in my journey being on Yalanji country. It is like a door opening for Yalanji people who want to discover their artistic side and to develop a personal expression within a group.
