I was born in Mossman and have lived here all my life. I am a Kuku Yalanji woman, just like both of my parents.

I grew up listening to my Elders telling me Cultural stories and showing me food in the rainforest that is good to eat and bad food ('don't eat that') and teaching me how to speak language and go hunting.

I first developed an interest in art doing still life drawings and paintings at school, and then continued to develop my art in my own time. Most of my painting is about the rainforest and the sea. I get my inspiration from my Kuku Yalanji Country.
