I returned to Yalanji Arts in 2024, after many years. But I've always been an artist—I carry a sketch book with me everywhere.

Traditionally, I'm a painter and am mainly inspired by my totems and the animals of my country. However I've been introduced to ceramics in recent months and am enjoying working in this new medium.

Mossman Gorge is my home and being back at the art centre, with my people, inspires me to continue as an artist. I'm excited to learn from my fellow artists and to also work in textiles and fabrics.
